Katie Sciba

Catholic Speaker & Writer

Speaking

I’m booking for 2025-2026 and would be honored to serve you. For inquiries, please use the form below and I’ll gladly inform you of my availability.

In parish missions, retreats, conferences, and keynote events, I discuss holy simplicity, the domestic church, and intimacy with Christ. Choose a theme below or contact me to write something unique and fresh for your community. All content can be presented in a variety of formats AND to audiences young and wise.

Simply Sanctifying

Living simply isn’t just a trend, but a divine call to set and maintain our souls on the things that matter over things material. Founded on John 10:10, we’ll discover that the abundant life is available to us right now.

Restored: Unlimited Mercy for the Soul

Here we immerse ourselves in Divine Mercy and Christ’s words from the diary of St. Faustina, how Divine Mercy renews our souls, and how God’s care and concern for us goes to the smallest details of our lives. Divine Mercy is restorative and I want so much to convey to people that there is no end to it.

Look to the Star

Here we look to Our Lady Star of the Sea as an example for Christian living. Concupiscence is a moment-to-moment battle. In “Look to the Star,” I present how Mary responds to four specific challenges humanity faces, highlighting her title as Star of the Sea and her role of leading us to Jesus.

Divine Design

The thesis of this presentation is from Christ to St. Faustina: “True greatness is in loving God and in humility.” We’ll discuss that loving God is active and a series of choices, more so than a sentiment. Humility is knowledge of self, so when we’re able to confront the things that prevent us from seeing ourselves honestly, we’ll more clearly realize who the Lord designed us to be.

Don’t let me convince you!
Check out what they’re saying.

Hi there I just listened to your second Advent session about the suns that keep us grounded. Every time I go to confession it’s the same sins over and over. If I make a serious effort to get those Sins out of my life I know what life would be like. More happier and free.

    Thanks

    Phil

Bless you in your work. Your talk on the “Pray more Novenas Advent Retreat” had me in tears. I will watch it again and find the joy in my pain. Bless you Katie, you are a joy.
    Thank you.

This is off the wall, but years ago I lived in Alpena, Michigan. There was a Catholic family named Tom Sciba, that were a true example of being a real Catholic family.
We were only there for a year and one half, but they helped cement us in our Catholic faith by there example.
Your husband would be probably a grandson if related.
I’m just curious if this is true.Dorothy Donkerbrook Yanavich

Hi Katie. We do a twice yearly mini- retreat for our women’s ministry.
    9:00-noon Saturday morning.
We probably couldn’t afford your fees and travel expenses, but if you are ever heading to Minnesota- let me know and maybe we could tack on a speaking engagement?
