I’m excited.
New ideas and projects have emerged for The Catholic Wife; dreams once played to the tune of “Wouldn’t It Be Nice?” are sounding a little more “Here Comes the Sun” and I’m thrilled for what God will do with it all. Here’s what’s coming up:
1) Time for a facelift! Within the next few weeks, theCatholicWife.net will have a new style that reflects the stirrings of my soul. It will be simpler and straightforward, still offering my blog, but other chances to get in touch as well (see #3!).
2) An e-book…or two! I’m presently pulling together writers for a collaborative e-book and hope hope hope to publish in a year or so. I also feel prompted to develop and publish my thoughts on simplicity and minimalism, which will be a separate effort. The release for both is TBD – the Good Lord hasn’t let me know exactly when yet.
3) AND saving the best for last…The most thrilling part for me is extending my work to include speaking. I’m presently booking engagements for the fall/winter of 2015-16 and I’m over-the-top excited about doing more ground work for marriage and family. I already have an incredible opportunity in the works for a seminar here, and would love to book further events. Contact me to talk about scheduling and topics. I have six years of writing, a couple of awards, a solid handful of radio interviews, and all the enthusiasm in the world.
So please! keep me in your prayers – that I will do God’s will joyfully and spread the hope of a Christ-centered marriage. Really and truly, I have you all to thank for your support, your comments, and your steady faithfulness to reading my work. God bless you!
In Christ,
Katie Sciba

Kristi you are just the best – thank you so much for this word of encouragement. And more importantly, thank you for your prayers. I need to be close to the Lord to let him work through me.
